Abstract:
Stimulated emission was observed in the wavelength range 455–495 nm due to the C(3/2) – A(3/2) transition in the XeF excimer pumped by vacuum ultraviolet radiation from open high-current discharges in mixtures containing XeF2, N2, and Ar. The duration of the stimulated emission pulses was 1.5μsec and their energy was 4 mJ.
