Instability and oscillations in the case of a four-wave interaction of laser beams in inertial media

Abstract: The stability limit, increments, and frequencies of spontaneously growing fields are determined for the case of a four-wave interaction of light in a medium with a thermal nonlinearity. The conditions are found for realization of various regimes of reflection from four-wave interaction mirrors.
