Abstract:
An investigation was made of the eleetro-optic properties of a ferroelectric ceramic-photoconductor structure with the aim of constructing an optically controlled transparency performing phase modulation of the reflected and transmitted light. The resolution of the structure, deduced from the fall of the frequency-contrast characteristic to half its maximum value, amounted to 27 lines/mm. A method was developed for outlining the boundaries of imaged objects with the aid of this structure.
