Dynamic characteristics of a fast-flow electric-discharge CO2 laser

Investigations were made of the dynamic characteristics of a fast-flow electric-discharge cw CO₂ laser. It was found that the lasing dynamics is influenced not only by resonator vibrations and current supply fluctuations but also by turbulent pulsations in the active medium flow.
