Abstract:
Measurements were made of the maximum permissible output energy of IFP-5000 lamps in two types of liquid used in cooling neodymium lasers and containing different concentrations of a filtering admixture. At low concentrations of this admixture the experimental values of the maximum energy were close to the values calculated in the absence of boiling in the liquid, whereas at high concentrations these values were close to those calculated on the assumption of boiling.
