Abstract: An investigation was made of the effect of conversion of the pump radiation spectrum in a luminescent liquid (solution of rhodamine 6G in ethanol) on the output energy of neodymium glass and YAG lasers. Analyses were made of the dependences of the conversion efficiency on the luminescent liquid concentration and type of active medium. The laser output energy in the free-oscillation regime was doubled, the differential efficiency was increased by 50–130%, and the stimulated emission threshold was reduced by 10–25%. A comparison was made between the experimental measurements and the calculation results.
