Possible use of quantoscopes—new devices with electron-beam- scanned semiconductor lasers—in large-screen color projection television systems

A brief description is given of the use of quantoscopes, which are new devices based on electron-beam-scanned semiconductor lasers, in projection of images on a screen of 12 m${}^2$ area. Consideration is given to the possibility of construction of a color television projector with three quantoscopes generating the primary colors.
