Organic derivatives of manganese(II) in organic synthesis

Literature data on the use of organic compounds of Mn(II) as reagents for organic synthesis have been correlated. Methods of obtaining and using them in acyl-, alkenyl- and allyldemetallation reactions and in 1,2- and 1,4-additions to carbonyl substrates are considered. The reactions of manganese derivatives containing Mn–Si and Mn–Sn bonds are discussed. The bibliography includes 99 references.
