Reactions of polyfluoroketones with unsaturated compounds

A review is presented on the reactions of polyfluoroketones with alkenes, alkynes, 1,2- and 1,3-dienes, and certain other unsaturated compounds. The reactivity of polyfluoroketones has been compared with that of diethyl oxomalonate. The characteristic dienophilic, enophilic and 1,2-dipolar properties of polyfluoroketones have been discussed.
