Abstract:
The results of studies on polyunsaturated macromolecular and macrocyclic silicohydrocarbons, the skeleton of which is made up of silicon atoms and the triple or double carbon–carbon groups or of a combination of these and certain other fragments, are surveyed and treated systematically for the first time. Attention is concentrated on studies in the field of polyunsaturated macrocyclic silicohydrocarbons. The methods of synthesis of macromolecular and macrocyclic silicohydrocarbons, their structures, and physical and chemical properties, are examined. The bibliography includes 110 references.
