Abstract: The features of the phenomenon of nuclear magnetic resonance in paramagnetic systems are considered. Specific character of detection of high-resoluton NMR spectra modified by hyperfine coupling is analyzed. Examples of the use of specific features of nuclear magnetic resonance in paramagnetic complexes in studies of the structure and dynamics of multielectron systems are given. The need for further experimental investigations of the nature of paramagnetic shifts (especially, contact ones) of NMR signals not only of 1H and 13C, but also of other nuclei is emphasized.
