Abstract: The current state and prospects for the use of natural lipopeptides and their synthetic analogues in the study of fine mechanisms of functioning of complex biological systems and in the solution of various problems of biochemistry and medicine are considered. The results of investigations related to the synthesis and biological activity of lipopeptides are summarised. The data on the application of lipopeptides as components of synthetic vaccines and antitumour drugs are discussed. The bibliography includes 71 references.
