The Schmidt Reaction with Ketones

Abstract: The Schmidt reaction with ketones is reviewed. Particular attention has been devoted to the mechanism and kinetics of the interaction of ketones with hydrazoic acid. The side reactions accompanying the main process and the applications of the Schmidt reaction have been indicated.
