Methods of Chemical Synthesis of Aminoacid and Peptide Esters of Nucleosides, Nucleotides, and Oligonucleotides

Abstract: The review gives a systematic account of the literature data for and the methods of synthesis of aminoacid esters of nucleosides, nucleotides, and oligonucleotides. The principle of the selection of protecting groups, the methods of activation of aminoacids, and the reaction conditions necessary for the synthesis of specific compounds are discussed.
A separate section is devoted to the discussion of methods for the preparation of peptide derivatives, in particular peptidyl-tRNA on the basis of natural aminoacyl-tRNA derivatives.
