Progress in the Search for Chemical Protective Agents against Radiation

Information published during 1968–1973 on the search for protective agents, capable of preventing or diminishing the harmful action of ionising radiation, is discussed and analysed. Only synthetic monomers belonging to various classes of organic compounds are considered: the search for protective compositions is not discussed. The bibliography comprises 168 items.
