Oxidative Polymerisation of Vinyl Monomers

The results of studies on the kinetics and mechanism of the oxidative polymerisation and copolymerisation of vinyl monomers are described systematically and discussed critically. Attention is concentrated on the elucidation of the relation between the structure and reactivity of the monomers in oxidative polymerisation and on the role of oxygen as an inhibitor in the free-radical chain polymerisation.
