Advances in the Study of the Stereochemistry of Quinolizidines, Indolizidines, and Pyrrolizidines

The results of studies on the stereochemistry of quinolizidines, indolizidines, and pyrrolizidines are examined. Attention is concentrated on the application of non-spectroscopic methods in the determination of the configurations and preferred conformations. The possibilities and limitations of various physical and physicochemical methods in the study of the stereochemistry of the above 1-azabicyclic compounds are demonstrated.
