Abstract:
The physicochemical principles of the formation of polymeric coatings in the electrodeposition of water-miscible compositions based on carboxyl-containing oligomeric electrolytes are described. The mechanism of the formation of the deposit on the anode and the film formation processes on various metallic supports are considered. The influence of the composition of the system and the deposition conditions on the electrodeposition mechanism and the properties of the coatings are discussed. It is shown that electrodeposition is one of the ways of creating an ordered structure in the formation of polymeric coatings, which ensures a higher rate of relaxation processes.
