Abstract: The methods of synthesis, the keto–enol tautomerism, the chemical reactions (including the formation of heterocycles), and the applications of fluorine-containing β-diketones are examined. The influence of the introduction of fluorine-containing substituents on the properties of β-diketones is discussed.
