Abstract:
The review is devoted to a comparatively new type of heterogeneous-catalytic processes – oxidative dehydrocoupling and cyclisation reactions of hydrocarbons with unsaturated bonds. The catalysts used in these processes and the rules governing their selection are examined. A systematic account is given of data on the kinetics and mechanisms of the reactions. Certain general characteristics of processes of this type are formulated and the problem of the selection of catalysts is discussed on their basis. The bibliography includes 143 references.
