The Regularity Bands in the Infrared Spectra of Polymers with Distortions in Structural Periodicity

Studies of the microstructures of polymers by methods based on the measurement of infrared band intensities are examined. The cluster model, within the framework of which a band classification has been proposed and the possibilities of infrared spectroscopy for the determination of different structural parameters of macromolecules have been analysed, is justified.
