Abstract:
Processes associated with the interaction of photons with organometallic photosemiconductors are examined. Attention is concentrated on the nature of the photoelectric and optical properties of copper organoacetylides and also on the elucidation of their structures by methods using electromagnetic radiation. It is shown that the organometallic compounds can be regarded as a new class of semiconducting materials, because they have a number of properties typical for inorganic and organic semiconductors.
