Some Problems of the Kinetics of Radical Reactions in Solid Polymers

The kinetics of radical reactions in solid polymers have a number of features which are examined in the present review in relation to the destruction of macroradicals, the reactions of macroradicals with macromolecules, and also the reactions involving low-molecular-weight substances. The mechanism and kinetics of the migration of the free valence in solid polymeric matrices are discussed in detail. Attention is concentrated on the relation between molecular mobility and the kinetics of radical reactions in solid polymers.
