Mechanism of the Epoxidation of Alkenes by Molecular Oxygen

Abstract: Radical and molecular mechanisms of the formation of oxirans are examined in the oxidation of alkenes by molecular oxygen. The reactivities of various epoxidising agents are discussed. A list of 87 references is included.
