Abstract:
Formation of the phase structure during three-dimensional polycondensation in heterophase epoxide–rubber systems is discussed. Aspects of the phase equilibrium and the interdiffusion of the components in the initial systems and during the chemical reaction are examined. A two-stage mechanism of structure formation is suggested. A relation is demonstrated between the thermodynamic affinity of the components and the final phase structure. Possible methods for obtaining systems having specified parameters are considered. A list of 102 references is included.
