Modern Problems of Homolytic Telomerisation

The results of studies in homolytic telomerisation during the last decade at the Institute of Organoelemental Compounds of the USSR Academy of Sciences are surveyed. The synthetic possibilities which have arisen as a result of initiation by metal carbonyls are demonstrated. The prospects for the practical utilisation of telomerisation are discussed.
