Abstract:
Studies of the kinetics of the adsorption of surface-active substances (SAS) from solutions have been reviewed. The influence of the chemical structure of the SAS (the length and degree of branching of the hydrocarbon chains and the nature of the polar group) on the mechanism of the adsorption process and the adsorption-kinetic characteristics of the SAS has been analysed. The correlation between the values of the adsorption and desorption rate coefficients and the adsorption equilibrium coefficient has been discussed. The bibliography contains 119 references.
