The Dehydrofluorination of Complexes of Silicon Tetrafluoride with Nitrogen- and Oxygen-containing Donor Ligands

Data on the dehydrofluorination of complexes of silicon tetrafluoride with N- and O-donor ligands in the absence of a solvent and in benzene, and on the alcoholysis and hydrolysis of silicon tetrafluoride, have been reviewed. The probable mechanism of dehydrofluorination has been discussed.
