Abstract: New synthetic possibilities of the reduced promoted fused iron catalyst in intermolecular and intramolecular amination, cyanation, hydrogenation-dehydrogenation, and hydrodeoxygenation reactions and intermolecular and intramolecular dehydration, polymerisation, and isotope exchange are examined. The mechanisms and kinetics of the reactions leading to the synthesis of amines, alcohols, hydrocarbons, and other organic compunds are discussed. A laser Raman spectroscopic method is described for the investigation of heterogeneous organic catalysis in situ.
