Abstract:
Catalysis using supported ionic liquids is nowadays a rapidly developing field of research. This review considers published data devoted to the methods of synthesis of supported ionic liquid-based catalytic materials. The results of investigations of the physicochemical properties of these materials and their catalytic activities and selectivities in liquid- and gas-phase reactions are discussed. The review covers publications of the last five years and also includes earlier works that have not been reflected, for some reason, in numerous reviews and monographs dealing with this subject. The bibliography includes 122 references.
