Abstract:
Synthetic approaches to tetrabenzotriazaporphyrins and their complexes with metals and semimetals (P, Si) are considered. The complexation methods of free tetrabenzotriazaporphyrin ligands and preparation of water-soluble derivatives by introduction of sulfo group are analyzed. The attention is focused on electronic absorption spectroscopy studies and potential practical applications of the compounds of this class. Bibliography — 80 references.
