Abstract:
Data on the structures of xenon and krypton compounds in various aggregative states are analyzed and integrated. The structures of simple, coordination, polymeric and clathrate-like compounds of these elements with various types of bonds are considered. Characteristic features of their vibrational spectra are discussed in relation to structural transformations caused by cation–anion interactions, structurally non-rigid intramolecular rearrangements and other factors.
