Metal complex catalysis in the chemistry of solid organic raw material

The applications of metal complexes in processes involving the conversion of solid organic raw material is examined. Data are presented on the use of metal complex catalysts for the preparation of organic compounds, synthetic fuels, and cellulose and its derivatives from coal and plant biomass.
