Inhibition and synergism in phase transfer catalysis

Questions concerning inhibition and synergism in phase transfer catalytic reactions in various systems are examined. Effects induced by the decomposition of the catalyst during the reaction and also by the introduction of various reagents and additives are analysed. Factors giving rise to synergistic and inhibition phenomena are considered. The bibliography includes 60 references.
