Abstract: Investigations of inverse problems for differential or integro-differential equations are presented. Methods of numerical solutions for these problems are developed. These methods are used in some applied problems.

Keywords: inverse and ill-posed problems, Cauchy problem, electrodynamics, elasticity, transport equation, stability estimates, uniqueness, numerical methods.
