Characterizations of spaces with $\sigma$-locally countable $sn$-networks

Abstract: The concept of a $\sigma$-locally countable mapping is used for establishing relations between metric spaces and spaces with $\sigma$-locally countable $sn$-networks ($cs^*$-networks, weak bases).
