Modeling critical phenomena in the reaction of carbon monoxide catalytic oxidation in a reaction-diffusion system

Abstract: We construct a model of the dynamics of a five-stage mechanism of carbon monoxide catalytic oxidation reaction with diffusion. Analytical expressions for bifurcation curves are obtained. It is shown that the the inclusion of a diffusion process in the model can lead to a bifurcation.
