Abstract: We consider the problem of the existence of functional-invariant solutions to the Maxwell system. The solutions found contain functional arbitrariness which is used for dertermining the parameters of the Maxwell system (the dielectric and magnetic constants).

Keywords: Maxwell equations, functional-invariant solution.
