On some results and problems of the stability theory of difference schemes

This work deals with the structure of the stability theory of difference schemes in Hilbert space. The basic results of the authors on this subject are set forth, and some unsolved problems are formulated that are interesting from the point of view of either the completeness of the theory or application to particular difference schemes.
