Description of the set of singular entire solutions of the maximal surface equation

A result on the existence and uniqueness of an entire solution of the maximal surface equation with prescribed flow vector and geometric location of the singularities in Minkowski space is proved, under certain natural assumptions. In addition some asymptotic properties of such solutions are established.
