The structure of intersections of nilpotent $\pi$-subgroups in finite $\pi$-solvable groups

It is shown that the intersection of an arbitrary number of Hall $\pi$-subgroups, in a finite solvable $\pi$-group containing a nilpotent Hall $\pi$-subgroup, coincides with the intersection of suitable three Hall $\pi$-subgroups.
