Exposing functions of strongly exposed points: Description and properties

We introduce the notion of an exposing function of a strictly exposed point belonging to the unit sphere of a normed space which is analogous to the local modulus of convexity. We also describe the class of all exposing functions. We then study various properties of exposing functions and discuss their behavior in the projective tensor product of normed spaces.
