The Cauchy problem for the fractional diffusion equation in a weighted Hölder space

Abstract: Under study is the Cauchy problem for the fractional diffusion equation with a Caputo derivative. The existence and uniqueness theorems for a smooth solution are proven in a weighted Hölder space.
