Abstract: The authors present the approach for developing self-timed devices of different classes. The conditions of integration of synchronous and self-timed devices are considered by the example of development of quasi self-timed computing device performing the functions of division and square-root generation on single and double precision numerals in compliance with IEEE 754 standard.
