Abstract:
The article contains results of development of methodology of functional hybrid intelligent systems to solve complex problems of decision-making support. A new approach is suggested for creating such methodology: a bi-directional hybridization that allows constructing intelligent systems with a considerable potential of specialists' reasoning simulation. The concepts of functional and instrumental heterogeneity of complex problems that determine the hybridization directions: 'from a problem' and ‘from a method’ are introduced. The conceptual models of original objects (complex problems) and prototype objects (modeling methods) of bi-directional hybridization are considered. The conceptual models of hybridization purposes — coarse-grain and fine-grain functional hybrid intelligent systems — are adduced. The life cycle of a bi-directional hybridization is described as an ordered and logically interlocked sequence of operations of a designer of intelligent systems for decision-making support.
