Example of one method of natural language structures analysis and recognition practical application in information processing system

Nowadays the systems for processing documentary information are the integral tool of analytical departments of both state, and commercial organizations. These can be registration systems, data banks and databases, systems for analytical processing of information, systems of document circulation and electronic archives. As a rule, experts-analysts carry out information processing with a focus on certain set of objects of the account, and, accordingly, application of relevant information system is carried out within the limits of strictly determined “subject area”. Therefore, the modern information-analytical systems providing data processing within the limits of several directions (or the data obtained from different information systems) require flexible mechanisms for adjustment of processing the diverse information and its transformation to a uniform kind and a format. The authors suggest a technology of adjustment of information-analytical systems on various subject domains, including consideration of questions of gathering information for the analysis of a subject domain, a choice of typical sources of information, formation of information model from the subject domain, a typical test database, and also procedures of testing the rules of adjustment and the control of accuracy and conformity for the found objects. Some practical results are illustrated with the examples of operation of ARION system for processing documentary information.
