Means for increasing effectiveness of documents searching in local information-ordered subspaces of the global Internet

The article presents a classification of means for increasing the efficiency of Internet algorithmic searching for documents. Possible applications of the means in the range of local information-ordered subspaces are described. The ways to improve the quality of web-documents from the point of view of their “searchability” are considered. The authors present directions of search engine functionality extension and perfection. Special attention is paid to meta-data usage. General description of meta-data system Dublin Core is given, including formal description of web-document annotation and an example of its design. The article is recommended for the wide range of Internet users.
