Integration and data access technology in the informational web portal

The authors propose a solution used by an informational web-portal for supporting the content obtained from heterogeneous external information sources. The technology and practical implementation of the solution is presented. The proposed integration and access server architecture is based on the external systems functional integration concept and adapters technology evolution.
