Semantic dictionary: line of development within information monitoring systems

In the paper one of the variants of problem-oriented linguistic resources and its integration into the Information Monitoring System are described. As an example of such a resource, the Information and Technological Monitoring System of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Semantic Dictionary prototype designed and developed in the Institute for Informatics Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences are considered. Design and development of the Semantic Dictionary prototype classified as a resource of ontology-like type with the functions specified is one of the first attempts of the linguistic tool implementation for the tasks of Information Monitoring.
