Abstract:
The paper deals with a new indicator of effectiveness of scientific organizations and, namely, the impact-factor of publications in “Web of Science” of employees in a scientific organization. It has been proved that the new interpretation of this indicator boils down at the best to the average value of the traditional impact-factor of several journals, and at the worst to the impact-factor of a single journal.
